Tom Ho Memorial Bus Fund Update Our dear member Tom passed away last August when a fund was established to raise funds to provide a new mini bus to Croydon M.S Society, Croydon branch. Contributions have been received from friends, family, Rotarians and Rotary Clubs around the world and at the recent A.G.M we were happy to present a cheque for over £16,000. The bus has been ordered and delivery is expected within the next 6 - 8 weeks. A formal presentation of the bus will be arranged to commemorate the handover. Preesident Bill said "I would like to thank all those who made contributions to the fund which has allowed us to provide this important and much needed resource to the M.S Society. Tom would I am sure be delighted that this objective has been achieved in his name."

What A Celebration. Members of our Club saw in the Chinese New Year in style with a super celebration held at All Saints Church Hall in Sanderstead on 11th February. The evening was run in honour of Tom Ho, with Wae, Tom’s second Chef providing a superb buffet. The evening was managed by Taeko Marvelly and her family who worked extremely hard to make the event such a run away success. President Bill said "What a fantastic event this has been Taeko worked so hard to make it possible and Tom would I know have been so proud of this outstanding success." Thanks to everyone who came along and made the occasion such fun, here's to the next time. |

Quiz Night Challenge 2012 The annual Quiz Night is almost upon us Please note the change of venue from All Saints Church Hall in Sanderstead to Warlingham School. This year sees a new Italian Buffet, the usual cash bar and of course the variety of difficult and baffling questions. Price £15.00 per person - Teams of 6.
