Chinese New Year Celebration

In February we celebrate the Chinese New Year with traditional Chinese folk dancing and other activities such as calligraphy and a traditional lion or dragon dance. This is primarily a fund raising excercise for the club and it is extremeley well supported both by club members, friends, members of the general public and other Rotary clubs.

As you can see from our pictures, we always have a great time. Tom Ho (Kelong) provides a suitably oriental buffet for the occasion and usually gets the biggest applause at the end of the evening from an appreciative and well fed audience.
